Parties and events
For the tranquility of the village, parties, events, and noisy gatherings are not permitted.
Pets
Pets are not accepted at Maison La Lanterne.
House features
The house has only one toilet located on the first floor, and two bathrooms - one on the ground floor and one on the first floor.
Check-in & Check-out times
Check-in from 4:00 PM check-out by 11:00 AM.
Early check-in or late check-out is only possible if we do not have other guests arriving or departing immediately before or after your stay. Please always check with us regarding the possibility of arriving earlier or departing later than the standard times.
The tranquility of the French countryside
This part of France is known for its natural charm, making it perfect for relaxing, enjoying simple outdoor activities, or exploring local attractions. It may not be the ideal spot for those seeking a big-city atmosphere or popular entertainment close at hand. We do offer interesting activities, but many of them require at least a short drive.
Digital detox
The house does not have a television. Instead, take this time to reconnect, read, explore the surrounding area, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Rest assured, Wi-Fi is available so you can stay connected when needed, check your emails, or plan your activities.
Prepare your arrival
There are no shops, bakeries, or cafés in the village. A bakery and a small supermarket are located 3 km from the house. You will find larger supermarkets 10–15 km away. We recommend stocking up on groceries beforehand to ensure a more relaxed arrival.
Heating with wood-burning stoves
In winter, the house is primarily heated by two wood-burning stoves. You will need to make the fire and add wood regularly to keep the house warm. Firewood is provided and included in the price. Each of the three bedrooms is equipped with an electric radiator.
